If you are trying to access testing or PrEP Services, STI or HIV treatment our job is to help get you there. Navigating medical care can be tough, especially where transportation is the best. We want to make sure you make every appointment, every time.
Linkage/Retention to Care
There are many reasons patients don't engage in the appropriate medical care. Barriers to care are barriers to us ending the HIV epidemic in this country. Our goal is to do everything possible to ensure our clients make their appointments and achieve their health goals.
Barriers that prevent patients from engaging in care can be anything from transportation to more complex issues like housing instability. EHE-Alabama will work with our clients to eliminate barriers to receiving the best care.
